Snowdon Lodge is large 17th century Welsh stone house which is available for exclusive hire to groups of up to 35 people. Famous as the birthplace of Lawrence of Arabia, this grade 2 listed character building provides ideal group accommodation in Snowdonia. Set in the village of Tremadog, the house is perfect for a family reunion or as a base for a group of friends. If you're looking to explore the outdoor activities of Snowdonia and the beaches and villages on the Llyn Peninsula, then Snowdon Lodge is ideal for your group.

Snowdon Lodge is well-equipped with facilities for all of your group accommodation needs. The ten bedrooms are different sizes with twins, doubles and family rooms sleeping five or six people. Most room have wash basins and there are plenty of hot showers and toilets. We have facilities such as free broadband WiFi throughout the building and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen. Our kitchen leads into a dining room decorated with Lawrence of Arabia memorabilia and seating up to 38 people. You can enjoy our two TV rooms and our wood burner for cosy winter evenings in the large lounge. Other facilities include a drying room and storage for bikes, canoes, surfboards and kites.  We have key code access, giving all your group access to the house at any time.

Whether for cosy winter getaways or summer holidays packed with adventure, our group accommodation will meet all your needs. In addition to our cosy wood burner for winter evenings, we have a very large outdoor carpark for activities or barbeques and outdoor dining.  Stay at Snowdon Lodge and enjoy extensive woodland walks directly from the grounds.

Our group accommodation in Snowdonia

Snowdon Lodge has a fabulous location. We are close to the mountains of Snowdonia (6 miles from Mount Snowdon) yet only 2 miles from the coast at Black Rock Sands with easy access to the many beaches of the Llyn Peninsula. Tremadog village centre is only 200m from Snowdon Lodge.

It has two pubs The Golden Fleece and The Union Inn, a restaurant (The Square), fish and chip shop and a Spar village shop. Less than half a mile away is the seaside town of Porthmadog with supermarkets, independent shops, harbour and railway. The famous Tremadog Rocks and virtually every other outdoor activity you could wish for are on the doorstep.

Our group accommodation sleeps up to 35 people

Bedroom layout.  There are 3 twin rooms and 3 double rooms. One room sleeping 6 people in bunks and one sleeping 5 people in bunks. There are two further rooms sleeping 5 people in bunks and these include one double bed in each room, so can occupy up to 6 people.

Snowdon Lodge welcomes all types of groups from those who wants to just chill out in comfort for a few days, to those who want to participate in the wide choice of activities available. The Lodge is perfect for families and friends looking for group accommodation in Snowdonia.  It has provided warm comfortable accommodation for many different types of groups over the years. Walking clubs, climbing groups, dance groups, triathlon groups and cycling groups have enjoy staying at Snowdon Lodge. Team building weekends have taken place here for the armed forces, teachers and school groups.  Snowdon Lodge has also been a base for university field trips, bird-watching weekends, and artist and photographer courses.
